Answer : -6 ☑️

Solution :

Given that :

2 is a root of polynomial equation x²+4x+m

So, if we put x = 2 in given equation then it will be equal to 0

According to the question :

(2)² + 4×2 + m = 0

=> 4 + 8 + m = 0

=> m = -12

Now, equation will be : x² + 4x - 12 = 0

On factorising the given equation :

x² + 6x - 2x - 12 = 0

=> x(x + 6) - 2(x + 6) = 0

=> (x + 6)(x - 2) = 0

Required roots :

x = -6 and 2

So, the another root of given polynomial equation will be -6

I hope it will be helpful for you ☺️
