Here p(x)=3x^2-kx+6=0

x=2

p(2)=3(2)^2-k(2)+6=0

=3(4)-2k+6=0

=12-2k+6=0

= 18-2k=0

=-2k=-18

=k= -18/-2

= k= 9

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3x**2 - kx + 6 = 0

let x + 2 = 0

x = -2

putting the value in equation

3(-2)**2 - k(-2) + 6 = 0

-12 + 2k + 6 = 0

-6 + 2k = 0

2k = 6

k = 6/2

k = 3
