==================

Zeroes :

 \alpha \: and \: 7 \alpha
now,

 \alpha + \beta = \frac{ - b}{a} \\ \\

 = > \alpha + 7 \alpha = \frac{8}{3} \\ \\ = > 8 \alpha = \frac{8}{3} \\ \\ = > \alpha = \frac{1}{3}

hence ,zeroes are 1/3 and 7/3

on putting this value intead of x we have:

=>1/3-8/3+2k+1=0

=>-7/3+1+2k=0

=>-4/3+2k=0

=>2k=4/3

=>k=2/3
