if one of the zero of the quadratic polynomial
(k - 1) {x}^{2}  + kx + 1
is -3 ,find the value of k.​

the answer is k = 4/3 value of the given k

since -3 is a zero... x+3=0 ==> x=-3

so x+3=0 is a factor of given polynomial

==> put value of x in given polynomial

(K-1).(-3)² +k(-3) +1 =0

from here 6k = 8

• K = 4/3
