If one of the zeroes of the quadratic polynomial ax^2 +ax +1 is -3, then the valuq of a is

Answer: -1/6

we know the value of x since it is given that the zero of it is -3, so we subsititute the value of x

ax² + ax + 1 = 0

a(-3)² + a(-3) + 1 = 0

9a + (-3a) + 1 = 0

6a = (-1)

a = -1/6
