Answer:-

  • 2x² + ax + 3
  • putting zero of the polynomial
  • p(1)= 2(1)² + a(1) + 3
  • evaluation gives a=-5
  • now the other zero of the polynomial =
  • 2x² + ax + 3 =
  • 2x² + -5x + 3=0
  • 2x² +-2x-3x + 3=0
  • 2x (x-1) -3 (x-1)
  • therefore (2x -3)(x-1)
  • x=3/2 is the other zero

Answer:

2(1) ^2 + a ×1 +3 =0

2+a+3=0

5+a=0

a =-5

2x^2 -5x +3 =

2x^2 -2x-3x +3=0

2x(x-1) -3(x-1) =0

(2x-3) (x-1) =0

2x-3=0, x-1=0

2x=3 , x=1

x=3/2 , x=1 ans
