Answer:

p(x)=(k-1)x²+kx+1

p(-3)=(k-1)(-3)²+k(-3)+1 =0

=(k-1)9-3k+1=0

=9k-9-3k+1=0

=6k-8=0

=2(3k-4)=0

=3k-4=0

=3k=4

=k=4/3

put -3 at the place of x

(k-1)-3^2+ -3k+1

(k-1)9-3k+1

9k-9-3k+1

6k-8

if 6k-8=0

6k=8

k=8/6

k=1.33
