ANSWER

THERE CAN BE MANY CASES :

X = -1 ,-2,-3.....

LETS TAKE TRY AND ERROR METHOD

CASE 1 :

p( - 1) = 14( - 1) {}^{2}  - 8 {k}^{2} ( - 1) - 9 \\  0 = 14 + 8 {k}^{2}  - 9 \\ 9 - 14 = 8 {k}^{2}  \\  - 5 = 8 {k}^{2}  \\  - 5 \div 8 =  {k}^{2}  \\  \sqrt{(5 \div 8)}  = k

CASE 2 :

p( - 2) = 14( - 2) {}^{2}  - 8 {k}^{2} ( - 2) - 9 \\ 0 = 56  + 16 {k}^{2}  - 9 \\ 9 - 56 = 16 {k}^{2}  \\  - 47  = 16 {k}^{2}

HOPE THAT HELPS
