Let, the two roots of the given equation

6x² + 11x + p = 0 be α and 1/α.

Using the relation between roots and coefficients, we get

α + 1/α = - 11/6 ..... (i)

α * 1/α = p/6 ..... (ii)

From (ii), we get

1 = p/6

or, p = 6

Therefore, the value of p is 6.
