if one root of the equation 2 x square - 10 X + p
= 0 is 2 then find the value of p

one of the root means , f(2) = 0
so, f(x) = 2x² - 10x +p
and , f(2) = 2(2)²-10×2+p
= 0 = 8 -20 +p
hence ,p = 12
