If one root of the equation 2x+ex-6-0 is 2, then the value of k+1 is

If we assume k+1=0

than we get

k=-1

so putting the value of k=-1 in the equation

than. we get,

2x+(-1)x-6-0=2

After solving the equation

we get

x=2+6

and the value of k is -1

so your answer will be -1(answer).
