Let the roots be alpha nd 1 / alpha

4x² - 2x + ( m - 4 ) = 0

on comparing this eqⁿ with ax² + bx + c = 0

we get....

a = 4 ; b = -2 ; c = ( m - 4 )

product of roots = c / a

=> alpha × 1 / alpha = ( m - 4 ) / 4

=> 1 = ( m - 4 ) / 4

=> 4 = m - 4

=> m = 4 + 4

=> m = 8

hope it helps.....!!!
