if one root of the quadratic equation 6 x square minus x minus K zero is 2 upon 3 then find the value of k​

It is given that the one zero of the given polynomial is 2/3.

Substitute the value of X = 2/3.

P ( 2/3) = 0

6 × (2/3)² - 2/3 - k = 0

6 × 4 / 9 - 2/3 - k = 0

2 × 4 / 3 - 2/3 - k = 0

8 / 3 - 2/3 - k = 0

8 - 2 - 3k = 0

6 -3k = 0

-3k = -6

k = -6/-3

k = 2
