the height of the tower =30m

the angle of decent from the top of the tower to bottom of the tree = 45 degrees

by applying

 \tan(45)

tan 45=ab/bc

tan45=ab/30

1=ab/30

by cross multiplication

ab =30m

.

. . the distance between the tower and the tree is 30 m
