Cloth available = 12m

Cloth needed for one shirt = 12/5 m .

So, number of shirts to be made with 12m cloth = cloth available/cloth for one shirt = 12 * 5/12 = 5

Hence,5 shirts can be made out of 12m of cloth .(ans)

Length of cloth required for 1 shirt = 12/5m
Total measurement of the cloth = 12m

Let x be the required number of shirts.
Therefore, 12/5*x=12
=> x=5
Therefore, 5 shirts can be made from 12m of cloth.
