Answer :

  • The corresponding altitude is 240m

Given :

  • parallelogram is 2.4m
  • Area is 576m²

To find :

  • Corresponding altitude

Solution :

Given that area of parallelogram is 576 which base is 2.4 and now we have to find the height then we get the altitude of parallelogram

Given Area of parallelogram is 576

As we know that :

  • Area of parallelogram is b × h

where b is base 2.4 and h is height

↝ Area of parallelogram = base × height

↝ 2.4 × h = 576

↝ h = 576/2.4

↝ h = 240 m

Hence , The corresponding altitude is 240m

One side of the parallelogram = 24m (let's take it as the base) so b = 24m

And it's area (A) = 576 m²

WE HAVE TO FIND ITS ALTITUDE OR HEIGHT = h

In Case of parallelogram Area is given by

\large\fcolorbox{cyan}{black}{\color{red}{Area = base ★ height}}

\huge\red\implies{\color{red}{A = b ★ h}}

\huge\red\implies{\color{red}{576 = 24 ★ h}}

\huge\red\implies{h = {\dfrac{576}{24}}}

\huge\red\implies{\color{red}{h = 24m}}
