Step-by-step explanation:

TO FIND - LENGTH OF THE SIDE OF THE SQUARE

LET THE FIRST SIDE BE x THEN THE OTHER SIDE WILL ALSO BE x AS IT IS A SQUARE.

SO, A/Q IF The first side is x+2 and other is x-2 then a rectangle shape is formed whose perimeter is 48 metre

so we get 2(l+b) = perimeter

= 2((x + 2)+(x -2)) = 48

= 2(2x ) = 48

= 4x = 48

= x = 12

so the original side = 12 m
