if one side of a square is increased by 5 metre and the other side is reduced by 5 metre a rectangle is formed whose perimeter is 30 metre find the side of original square​

let the sides of square be x

when increased by 5m:- (x+5)

other side decreased by 5m :-(x-5)

perimeter=30m

2(l+b)=30

2(x+5+x-5)=30

2x^2=30

x^2=15
