we know that all sides are equal in square. So,

4x-7 = 3x+5

=> 4x-3x = 5+7

=> x = 12

so, side = 4x-7 = 4×12-7 = 41

the question has no unit given, so let the unit be cm

so, side of square = 41cm

we know,

perimeter of square = 4×side

= 4×41cm

= 164cm

and area of square = side × side

= 41cm×41cm

1681cm²

Answer: =

We know that a square has equal sides. So,

4x - 7 = 3x + 5

⇒ 4x = 3x + 5 + 7

⇒ 4x = 3x + 12

⇒ 4x - 3x = 12

⇒ x = 12

Now that we have found out the value of x, we can now find the value of the sides and then find out the value of the perimeter and the area.

Length of the side = 4x - 7 = 4(12) - 7 = 48 - 7 = 41 units

Now, we can find the perimeter and area of the square

Perimeter of the square = side + side + side + side = 4s

⇒ 4(41)

⇒ 164 units

∴ Hence, the perimeter of the square is 164 units

Area of the square = side x side

⇒ 41 x 41

⇒ 1681 units²

∴ Hence, the area of the square is 1681 units²

Thnx and have a nice day!
