so distance=500km
time=10hr
speed =distance÷time
=500÷10
=50kmperhr
another train travels 500km in 5 hr
then
speed=500÷5=100kmper hr
now average speed=
speed of 1st train+speed of 2nd train÷2
=100+50÷2
=75kmperhr
