If one vertex angle of isosceles triangle is 42 degree. Each base angles will be______degree

We know,

   Two angles of a isosceles triangle are equal.

So, let the angle be x°

Now,

    x° + x° + 42° = 180 °        [ Sum of all angles of a triangle = 180° ]  

=>  2x° = 180° - 42°

=>   2x° = 138°

=>    x° = 138° / 2

=>   x° = 69°

The two base angles are 69.°     ( Ans )
