The other two zeroes can be find out by using factorisation;

  • 2x² + 3x + 1

Middle term splitting method

  • 2x² + 2x + 1x + 1
  • 2x(x + 1) + (x +1)
  • (x + 1)(2x + 1)
  • x = -1; x = -1/2

Therefore, the other two zeroes are -1 & -1/2.
