Solution:-

Given:-

  • Quadratic Equation:- 4x² + 3x + a
  • One Zero is Reciprocal of another.

To Find:-

  • value of a.

Find:-

Let the Zero be α.

=) Second Zero = 1/α

We know that,

Product of Zeroes = c/a

=) α × 1/α = a/4

=) 1 = a/4

=) a = 4

Hence,

a takes the value of 4.
