SOLUTION :

Given :

3x² - 4x + p

Let one zero be x

& second zero = 1/x

[ Given : one zero is reciprocal to the other]

Here, a = 3, b= - 4 c = p

product of zero = constant term/ coefficient of x² = c/a

product of zero = c/a = p/3

x × 1/x = p/3

x/x = p/3

p/3 = 1

p = 1× 3

p = 3

Hence, the value of p is 3.
