Hi ,
Let p( x ) = x² - 4x + 1
Let m , n are two zeroes of the p ( x ),
m = 2√3 ( given )
n = ?
compare p( x ) with ax² + bx + c ,
a = 1 , b = -4 , c = 1
sum of the zeroes = -b/a
m + n = - ( -4 )/ 1
2√3 + n = 4
n = 4 - 2√3
