Quadratic polynomial

 {x}^{2} - 5x - 6

One zero is 6 and let the other one be p

The sum of the zeroes of a quadratic polynomial is equal to the negative of the coefficient of x by the coefficient of x^2

6 + p = \frac{ - ( - 5)}{1 } \\ p = 5 - 6 = - 1

Other zero is - 1
