$\alpha$

so, the another one will be

$7 \alpha$

now, from the polynomial we can say that,

$\alpha + 7 \alpha = \frac{16}{2}$

&

$\alpha \times 7 \alpha = \frac{5k}{2}$

therefore,

$8 \alpha = 8$

or,

$\alpha = 1$

&

$7 { \alpha }^{2} = \frac{5k}{2}$

or,

$7 = \frac{5k}{2}$

or,

$k = \frac{14}{5} \: or \: 2.8$
