Step-by-step explanation:

p(x)=2x2+3x+k

if 1/2 is one of the zero

so p (1/2) =2×(1/2)2+3(1/2)+k

2×1/4+3/2+k=0

1/2+3/2+k=0

4/2+k=0

2+k=0

k=2

let the given zero (1/2) be alpha and another zero be beta

therefore

a+beta=b/a

1/2+bera=3/2

beta =3/2-1/2

beta=4/2

beta =2

so therefore

k=2 and another zero =-2...
