If one zero of the polynomial 5x^2+13x-y is reciprocal of the other,then find y

we know that in a quadratic equation ax^2+bx+c=0

Product of root = c/a

5x^2+13x-y=0

Product of root = y/5

given that the root are reciprocal of each other so if one root is p the other would be 1/p so there product will we always be 1

=>1=y/5

=>y=5

hence the vlue of y is 5
