Here , As The Roots are consecutive , Difference of roots = 1 .

As we know , Difference of roots = √D/a

So , √( b² - 4ac ) = 1

B² -4ac = 1

b² = 1 + 4ac

25 = 4k + 1

k = 6

Which Is The Required Value .

#SupermanINFINITY

RaunakRaj: b^2=1+4ac hoga thus answer is 6..
RaunakRaj: correct it..
anne9: thanks
SupermanINFINITY: ohh , sorry
SupermanINFINITY: lemme correct it moderators

Let the roots be a and a+1. Then,
a+a+1=(-5)
2a=(-6)
a=(-3)
and
a(a+1)=k
So,
(-3)(-2)=k
k=6

PLZ MARK IT AS BRAINLIEST..

anne9: thanks
