so....2X²-3X+p=0

since it is quadratic equation...so it will have 2 roots ...but we know that one of its root is 3

therefore X=3

2(3)²-3(3)+p=0

2×9-9+p=0

18-9+p=0

9+p=0

p=0-9

p= -9
