Given, f(x)=4x^2-8kx-9
We know,
α+β= -b/a
α+(-α)= -(-8k)/4 [∵ in f(x), a=4, b= -8k, c=-9]
α-α= 8k/4
0= 8k/4
8k=0
∴k=0
