sum of roots=-3

2+a=-3

a=-5

product of roots =k

2×-5=k

k=-10

and

The polynomial = x^2 + 3x + k

so

x ^{2}  + 3x + k = 0 \\  \\   =  > (2) ^{2}  + 3(2) + k = 0 \\  \\  =  > 4 + 6 + k = 0 \\  \\  =  > 10 + k = 0 \\  \\  =  > k =  - 10

So option (b) = - 10 iS correct
