if one zero of the quadratic polynomial x2-x-(2+2K) is -4 then find the value of K.
Please explain step by step.​

Answer:

-4 is the zero so put x=-4

(-4)^2-(-4)-(2+2k)=0

16+4-2-2k=0

18-2k=0

k=-18/-2

k=9
