Hey !!
P ( X ) = 2X² + PX + 4
Substitute X = 2 in P ( X ).
P (2) = 2 × (2)² + P × 2 + 4
=> 2 × 4 + 2P + 4 = 0
=> 8 + 2P + 4 = 0
=> 2P + 12 = 0
=> 2P = -12
=> P = -6
P ( X ) = 2X² + PX + 4
Substitute X = 2 in P ( X ).
P (2) = 2 × (2)² + P × 2 + 4
=> 2 × 4 + 2P + 4 = 0
=> 8 + 2P + 4 = 0
=> 2P + 12 = 0
=> 2P = -12
=> P = -6

Given quadratic polynomial is 2x^2+px+4 ...(1)
One of the zeroes is 2 ..
subsitute it in equation (1)
2x^2+px+4 = 0
2(2)^2+p(2)+4=0
2(4) + p(2) + 4 = 0
8+2p+4=0
12+2p =0
2p = -12
p=-12/2
p=-6..
