If OT is the radius of the circle and XY is the tangent then can PT be also the radius of the circle and did PT is perpendicular to XY If yes then why?

here pt cannot be the radius as it is not joining the centre of circle and its circumference. Also the line segment pt is not in a right angle with the line xy.
as stated earlier that ot is perpendicular to xy. so a line segment can have only one perpendicular to it from a given point on it.
