if (p-1) (p+1) (3p+1) are 8n AP, find the value of p

if (p-1) , (p+1) and (3p+1) are in AP then
p - 1 + 3p + 1 =2( p + 1) \\  =  > 4p \:  = 2p + 2 \\  =  > 2p = 2 \\  =  > p = 1
