Step-by-step explanation:

Hello users .....

we have given that

p-1,p+3 , 3p-1 are in A.P

we have to find p= ?

solution :-

we know that :

if a,b,c are in AP

then 2b = a + c

here

=> 2(p+3) = { (p-1) + ( 3p -1) }

=> 2p +6 = 4p -2

=> 2p = 8

=> p = 4 answer

⭐⭐ hope it helps ⭐⭐

If (p - 1 )+ (p - 3) +( 3 p- 1 ) are in AP then

a2-a1=q3-a2

p - 3-p +1=3 p- 1-p +3

-2=2p+2

-4=2p

2p=-4

p=-4/2

p=-2
