Answer:

p-1,p+3,3p-1 are in A.P.

so,

(p+3)-(p-1)=(3p-1)-(p+3)

=> p+3-p+1=3p-1-p-3

=> 4=2p-4

=> 2p=4+4=8

=> p=8/2=4
