if p+1/p = 5 , find the values of (p^2 + 1/p^2) and (p^4 + 1/p^4).​

Given, p+1/p = 5

p^2 + 1/p^2 = (p+1/p)²-2.p.1/p

= 5²-2

= 25-2

=23

Also, p⁴+1/p⁴ = (p²+1/p²)²-2.p².1/p²

= (23)²-2

= 529-2

= 527
