if p-1/p=9 , find p^2+1/p^2​

We know that:

\frac{p-1}{p} = 9

therefore,

p = \frac{-1}{8}

Now, we need to find

\frac{p^{2}+1 }{p^{2}} \\ ------ EQUATION 1

Substituting p = \frac{-1}{8} in Equation 1

\frac{(-1/8)^{2}+ 1 }{(-1/8)^{2} }

By simplifying, we get

\frac{p^{2}+1 }{p^{2}} \\ = 65
