Answer:

Given:if p(2)=0. for polynomial p(x) then one factor of p(x) is

To find: Factor of p(x)

Solution:

As we know that on putting x= a,if p(x) becomes zero then a is a zero of polynomial.

And (x-a) is a factor of that polynomial.

Here ,

if p(2)=0

i.e.

On putting x= 2 , p(x) becomes zero,

So, 2 is one of the zero of polynomial.

Thus,

(x-2) is one of the factor of p(x).
