i. p – q                   ii. p² – q²​

Answer: Given that,

P=√2-√5/√2+√5

Q=√2+√5/√2-√5

1)p-q=√2-√5/√2+√5-√2+√5/√2-√5

=(√2-√5)²-(√2+√5)²/(√2+√5)(√2-√5)

=-4√2√5/2-5=-4√2√5/-3

=4√2√5/3

2)p²-q²=(p+q)(p-q)

On solving,

P+q=-14/3

P²-q²={-14/3}{4√2√5/3}=-56√2√5/9
