We know that p = -2

-3p2 +5p-2

= (-3 x -2) + (5 x -5) -2

= 6 + -25 - 2

= -19 - 2

= -21

To find : the value of  -3p^{2}+ 5p - 2

Given : p = -2

Solution :

  • To find the value of -3p^{2}+ 5p - 2  we need to substitute the given value of p in the equation .
  • after substituting value by carrying out simple  addition and subtraction we can find the value of equation .

      ⇒      -3p^{2}+ 5p - 2

      ⇒       = -3(-2)^{2} + 5 (-2) -2

      ⇒       = -3 (4) -10 -2

      ⇒       = -12 -10 -2

      ⇒       = -24

Hence , option ( c )-24  is the correct answer.
