Given that,

P=2i+3j-k

Q =2i+4j+2k

To find,

P+Q and 3P-2Q

Solution,

For P+Q,

 = 2i + 3j - k + (2i + 4j + 2k)  \\  \:  = 4i + 7j + k

For 3p-2Q,

 = 3(2i + 3j - k) - 2(2i + 4j + 2k) \\  = 6i + 9i - 3k - (4i - 8j - 4k )\\  6i + 9i - 3k - 4i - 8j - 4k  \\  \:  = 2i + j - 7k
