If P= 2y square - 2y -5, Q= y square - 3y + 6 and R = y square - 4y + 2 , find P+ Q+ 2R.

P + Q + 2R = 2y^2 - 2y - 5 + y^2 - 3y + 6 + 2 ( y^2 - 4y + 2

= 2y^2 + y^2 + 2y^2 - 2y - 3y -8y - 5 + 6 + 4

= 5y^2 - 13y + 5
