if p=5+2root6 and x=1/p , what will be the value of p^2+x^2

p= 5+ 2root6
1/p = 5 - 2root6
p+1/p= 10
Squaring both sides,
p^2 + 1/p^2 + 2(10) = 100
p^2 +1/p^2 = 80
