❒Given :

  • P = 6x³ - 8x² + 4x - 2
  • Q = 5 - 4x + 6x² - 8x³

❒ To Find :

  • P + 2Q.

Solution :-

 \longrightarrow \sf P + 2Q \\  \\

\longrightarrow \sf 6x^3 - 8x^2+ 4x - 2 + 2(5 - 4x + 6x^2- 8x^3) \\  \\

\longrightarrow \sf 6x^3 - 8x^2+ 4x - 2 + 10 - 8x + 12x^2- 16x^3\\ \\

\longrightarrow \sf 6x^3 - 16 x^3 - 8x^2 + 12x^2 + 4x - 8x  - 2 + 10 \\  \\

 \longrightarrow  \underline{ \boxed{\tt  - 10x^3 + 4x^2 - 4x + 8}}

\therefore{\underline{\sf{\pink {P + 2Q=-10x^3 + 4x^2 - 4x + 8.}}}}
