If A and B are independent events than

P (A ∩ B) = P(A).P(B)

here given

P(A) = \frac{3}{5} \\ \\ P(B) = \frac{1}{5} \\ \\

P (A ∩ B)

 = \frac{3}{5} \times \frac{1}{5} \\ \\ = \frac{3}{25} \\ \\

P (A ∩ B) = 3/25
