If p and q are co-primes then p² and q² are

(a) co-prime.

Reason:

Two numbers are considered co-prime or relatively prime to each other when they have no other common factor other than 1.

If p and q are co-primes then,

(p² = p × p) and (q² = q × q) also will not have any common factor other than 1.

Hence they are also co-primes.
